How do I add events to my calendars?
There are two ways to add an event to your calendar. The quickest way to do this is to simply click on the date that you want to add an event to and a bubble will pop up allowing to you add an event in on that date. The other way is to select the "new event" button at the top of the screen. This will pull open a new screen that allows you to enter in an event in more detail then the previous option.
How can I organize my events?
The best way to organize your events is to create different calendars for different categories of events. You can create a new calendar by selecting the "new calendar" button at the top of the screen. Then when you create a new event simply add it to the appropriate calendar.
How do I set reminders for my events?
After you create an event you can select it on the calendar and then click on the "edit" option. In this screen you can set when you would like to recieve an email reminder about the event.
How can I view my friends events in my Calendar Manager?
If you have people on your friends list that have calendars that aren't set to "private" then you can view them on your calendar by selecting the "subscribe" option at the top of the screen. From here you will get a list of your friends that you can click on to see what calendars they are sharing. After you subscribe to a calendar it will automatically be updated in your calendar manager every time they add new events to it.
How can I share my calendars with others?
First of all you will need to ensure that you have events in a calendar that has permissions not set to "private". Next you can select the "share" button at the top of the screen. From here you can select which calendar you would like to share and then who you would like to email that calendar to. Then an email will be sent to your friend that has a link to that calendar on your public calendar page.
What are tasks?
Your tasklist is just a simple check list for you to keep track of what you need to get done and when it needs to be done by. When you complete an item on the task list you can simply check it off or remove it.
How do I change the permissions on my calendar?
If you click on a calendar it will give you the option to "edit" it. If you select this option you will be taken to another screen. On this screen select the "permissions" option and change them here.
